Become a Volunteer

We believe that each additional mind in the room inevitably contributes to new ideas. The Council welcomes new perspectives and input from a broad spectrum of community members as we continue to present our traditional speaker programs and explore new opportunities for outreach growth.

WHY VOLUNTEERS ARE IMPORTANT TO THE COUNCIL…

Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. As such, they help to broaden the Council’s educational impact on Alaska by introducing our global programs to their respective communities.

Volunteers help the Council achieve its mission by donating their time and skills as special projects assistants, community outreach liaisons, event assistants, or committee representatives. In every role, their input is highly valued and contributes to the realization of the Council’s mission.
