On October 23rd, AKWorld featured a panel discussion on “International Cooperation in the Arctic” with distinguished panelists: Ambassador David Balton, Chair of the Arctic Council SAOs; Margaret Williams, Managing Director of the US Arctic Program of the World Wildlife Fund; and Anders Oskal, Director of the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry. The panel was moderated Dr. Diddy Hitchins, British Honorary Consul for Alaska. This was a fantastic and interactive discussion on the ways that Arctic nations are working together to address the issues unique to the North.
