The National Conference, held annually for over a decade, hosts citizen leaders drawn from the business, civic, and education communities from across the country. This year’s conference will focus on the Six Top National Security Issues facing the United States in the run-up to the 2012 presidential election, which were selected by our council network leadership. The Six Top Issues are U.S. Economic Competitiveness; U.S. Education: Competing Globally; U.S. Energy Policy; Afghanistan/Pakistan; the Middle East; and China.
