The Alaska World Affairs Council provides a wide range of educational, informative programs that are open to the public at large and thus reach an audience considerably larger than its membership. Moreover, access to the web site of the Council is promoted statewide to high school and university students and teachers. These programs include lectures, forums, receptions and discussion groups. The Council hosts these programs and activities in line with its mission of keeping its members, students, teachers, and the public at large, abreast of international affairs and relations.
