Renee Stewart

Reneé graduated from
Bartlett High School in
Anchorage, Alaska, and
received her B.A. degree in
Business/Government from
Skidmore College in Saratoga
Springs, New York. As a
daughter of an Air Force
Staff Judge Advocate, she
grew up traveling all over
the United States, as well
as Central & South America.
Renee’ has been a member of
the Alaska World Affairs
Council since 2003, and was
elected to the AWAC Board of
Directors in 2007. She is an
active member of the
Anchorage Downtown Rotary
Club (since 2001) and is an
incoming Board Member for
their 2008-09 year. Reneé’s
interest in world affairs
and the desire to help
others, took her to India in
2007 with a team of Rotary
volunteers on a humanitarian
mission to help immunize
children against polio as
part of the Global Polio
Eradication effort
spearheaded by WHO, CDC,
UNICEF, and Rotary
International. Reneé is
currently a Senior
Administrative/Budget
Officer with the
Municipality of Anchorage. |
