Brian Davies Brian Davies
grew up on a farm in
Herefordshire, England. He
holds a degree in geology
from Trinity College,
Dublin.
After working for BP in the
Southern North Sea, Abu
Dhabi and Colombia, he came
to Alaska in 1971. He was
involved with the operation
and development of Prudhoe
Bay and other North Slope
fields for most of the
ensuing 23 years. Brian
Davies retired in 1994 after
31 years of service with BP
and SOHIO. His last position
before retiring was Senior
Vice President, Prudhoe.
Brian lives in Anchorage. He
is a part-time consultant
and is involved with several
non-profit organizations in
Anchorage. He is Chair of
the Anchorage Museum
Expansion Committee, Chair
of the Alaska Chapter of The
Nature Conservancy, Vice
President of the Cook Inlet
Historical Society. He is a
past President of the
Anchorage Symphony Orchestra
board and of the Alaska
World Affairs Council board. |
